Black Scrunchies: consolidating the youth for the 2022 elections and beyond

"There are many reasons why the youth should be concerned about the May 2022 elections. We [the youth] are the ones responsible for our future. At this rate, with the people in charge, they are destroying any semblance of future that we can have"

This is what I want young people to understand: that elections are not the end-all-be of our participation in politics and democracy.

Advocacies and campaigns are meant to be lobbied and fought for, election season or not. Election is probably the best time to put them [our advocacies] in the limelight, but I wish to emphasize that we should do groundwork year in and out.
